The Undercover Economist

I was a little concerned getting the Unabridged Audiobook version of Tim Harford’s The Undercover Economist (released by Recorded Books).  Usually with subject material such as Economics, some of the math, statistics, examples, theories and other details can overwhelm an Audiobook listener.  But in this case, I was pleasantly surprised and was not confused at all.  I also thought Robert Ian MacKenzie’s reading really brought out Tim’s passion for Economics, and even his playful sarcastic tone, in most of the book.

If you have any interest in why prices are the way they are…or even consider yourself some kind of armchair economist, this Audiobook is well worth the investment.  So grab a cup of your favorite overpriced coffee (you’ll get the joke when you listen) and start listening!
